Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Claude Motion (claudemotion.design, the claudemotion CLI and skills, and share links — together, the "Service") collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Claude Motion is independently operated and has no relationship with Anthropic, PBC or OpenAI; their handling of data in Claude Code or Codex is governed by their own policies.

1. What stays on your computer

Generation runs on your own computer, inside the Claude Code or Codex you already use. The documents, scripts, notes and data you hand to your agent, the motion pieces it builds and the MP4 files you render are processed locally and are not sent to us. We never receive your Claude or OpenAI credentials, and we cannot see your conversations with your agent.

2. What we receive

We receive only the following:

• Account data. Your email address and name, from Google sign-in or email sign-in, plus basic session data needed to keep you signed in.
• Subscription and billing data. Your plan, subscription status and payment history. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• API keys. When you activate the CLI we store a hash of your API key, not the key itself, so we can recognise your requests and let you revoke the key.
• Credit ledger. A record of credits granted, spent and refunded, so we can show your balance and refund failed generations.
• Voiceover and music text. When you ask for voiceover or music, the text and settings for that request are sent to us so we can generate audio.
• Content you choose to share. When you create a share link, the published piece is uploaded and stored so that people with the link can open it.
• Share statistics. View counts for your share links, and anonymous quiz answers given by viewers. These contain no personal data about viewers.
• Analytics. Pages visited and product events on claudemotion.design, collected with Google Analytics 4 and Open Analytics in production only.

If you email us, we also receive your message and email address.

3. How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure the Service: to sign you in, manage your plan and credits, generate the audio you request, host your share links, show you share statistics, answer support requests, prevent abuse and fraud, and understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

4. Who processes it for us

We rely on a small number of providers ("sub-processors"), each of which handles data only to provide its service to us:

• Cloudflare hosts the website, API, database and file storage. Shared content is stored on Cloudflare R2.
• Stripe processes subscriptions and payments.
• ElevenLabs generates voiceover and music from the text you send for audio generation.
• Google provides Google sign-in and Google Analytics 4.
• Open Analytics provides privacy-focused website analytics.
• Our email provider delivers sign-in and account emails.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language. Analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Open Analytics) runs only on the production site and is used to understand aggregate usage. 6. How long we keep it

We keep account, subscription and credit records while your account is open and afterwards for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal obligations. Voiceover and music text is kept only as long as needed to generate and deliver the audio and to handle failures or refunds. Shared content stays online until you delete the share link or your account. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete share links and revoke API keys from your dashboard at any time, and cancel your subscription from the billing portal. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing, by emailing support@claudemotion.design. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, API keys are stored only as hashes, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in method and API keys safe and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.

9. International transfers

Our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above, and notify you by email or in your dashboard for material changes.
